NYOKA, Caiphus

Description
A prominent student activist who was shot dead by members of the SAP in his bedroom in Daveyton, Transvaal, on 24 August 1987 after frequent police raids on his family home. Mr Nyoka was shot 12 times. Police had colluded with the town mayor to end Mr Nyoka’s influence in the community.
