A member of the SAP who was injured in a shoot-out with an MK operative in Johannesburg on 25 May 1991. Mr Oosthuizen and his colleague were both injured in the shoot-out, when they attempted to stop a vehicle. One MK operative was granted amnesty (AC/1997/0035).
