PEDRO, Niclo

Description
An MK operative who was detained in Cape Town in August 1987 and held under section 29 for six months, during which he was severely tortured by named members of the Western Cape Security Branch. Mr Pedro was later convicted of terrorism and sentenced to 14 years’ imprisonment. One Security Branch operative was granted amnesty for his torture (AC/1999/0027).
