Was stabbed with a sharp object by ‘Gadaffis’ in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal , on 17 February 1991. The ANC-aligned Khutsong Youth Congress split into two factions, the ‘Zim-zims’ and the ‘Gaddaffis’. Ms Phale was attacked because her brother was suspected to be a ‘Zim-Zim’.
