Description An IFP supporter who was stabbed to death by a named perpetrator on 7 February 1993 in Ratanda, Heidelberg, Transvaal, during conflict between IFP-supporting hostel- dwellers and ANC-supporting residents. Ratanda was tense after conflict between COSATU-aligned FAWU and IFP-aligned UWUSA members in a local factory spilled over into the surrounding community.
