Was severely kicked and punched at Tlhabane police station, Bophuthatswana, by named members of the SAP in 1976 during political conflict. In 1992 he was severely beaten by members of the Bophuthatswana Police as a result of which he lost his teeth, developed speech problems and experiences loss of memory.
