Was seriously injured when alleged members of the SAP in Sebokeng, Tvl, shot him with birdshot in the eye on 30 May 1992. Police were patrolling the area during political conflict. Ten people were killed in Sharpeville and Sebokeng that day, allegedly as a result of such police patrols.
