Was detained in solitary confinement in Bloemfontein from 25 June 1984. In detention, he was interrogated about sabotage explosions around Bloemfontein in 1983 and forced to write a statement. Charges of murder and attempted murder were brought against him, but were withdrawn because of evidence of his severe torture by members of the Security Branch. Mr Sejeng was released after almost a year in custody
