Description
He had his home burnt down by members of the ANC-aligned ‘Gadaffi’ faction of the Khutsong Youth Congress (KYC) on 4 March 1990 in Khutsong, Carletonville, Transvaal . The KYC split into rival two factions, the ‘Zim-zims’ and the ‘Gaddaffis’. Mr Selepe’s son was a policeman and was targeted as police were seen to be taking sides in the conflict within the KYC.
