Was severely beaten at a community meeting on 10 October 1986 in Ga-Kibi Village, Lebowa, called to discuss grievances against the self-appointed Chief Lebogo. The chief responded by using the police and SADF members to disperse the meeting by sjambokking those in attendance. Mr Sethokga lost his eye as a result of the beating.
