An MK operative who was detained, interrogated and tortured at John Vorster Square, Johannesburg, by members of the Witwatersrand Security Branch on 30/31 December 1976. Mr Sexwale was later sentenced to 18 years’ imprisonment. One Witwatersrand Security Branch operative was granted amnesty (AC/2001/275).
