Was arrested in Duduza, Nigel, Transvaal, on 28 February 1985. Duduza residents were demanding a modern sewerage system rather than the continued use of buckets. Youths targeted policemen’s houses as part of their protest and many were severely beaten when taken to Dunnottar Police station.
