A UDF supporter who was ambushed and shot at by Inkatha members during political conflict at Imbali, Pietermaritzburg, on 14 January 1989. An amnesty applicant testified that Mr Sithole was targeted because he was believed to be supplying weapons to UDF supporters (AC/1999/0334).
