Was robbed and stabbed to death by APLA operatives on his farm in Wesselsdal, Vanstadensrus, OFS, on 25 July 1993. Mr Smith’s wife was injured in the attack. Three perpetrators were granted amnesty (AC/1998/0020). See APLA attacks.
