Description Was severely injured when APLA operatives threw hand grenades at and opened fire on patrons at the Crazy Beat Disco in Newcastle, Natal, on 14 February 1994. One person was shot dead and several others were injured in the attack. See APLA attacks. Three APLA operatives were granted amnesty (AC/1998/0016).
