Was assaulted, injured and had her house burnt down by members of the SAP during a raid on her house in Bizana, Transkei, during the Pondoland revolt in 1960. She had a miscarriage as a result of her injuries. Her husband, a member of iKongo, was arrested at gunpoint by SAP members. See Pondoland revolt.
