An ANC supporter who was shot dead by a named member of the KwaZulu Police (KZP) accompanied by Amasinyora vigilantes in KwaMashu, Durban, on 7 January 1990. Mr Twala was standing in the street with friends when the perpetrator tried to run him over. The perpetrator then got out of his car and shot Mr Twala dead. Mr Twala’s elder brother had been shot and killed by a KZP member nine months earlier. See Amasinyora.
