Was killed when the vehicle in which she was travelling with family and friends detonated a landmine on a game farm near Messina, Transvaal, on 15 December 1985. Four children and two women were killed and five people injured in what was part of an ANC landmine campaign aimed at military patrols in the rural border regions. Three MK operatives were granted amnesty (AC/2001/093). See ANC landmine campaign.
