A church minister active in the SACC and the UDF who was detained under emergency regulations at Riversdale police station, Cape, on 13 June 1986, because of his political activities. He was interrogated and held in solitary confinement until his release on 27 July 1986. He and his family then experienced ongoing harassment. See police brutality.
