A SEYCO member who was shot in the leg with live ammunition on 1 January 1985 while at a disco in Seymour, Cape. The perpetrator was an intoxicated member of the SAP who started shooting randomly in the hall. At the time, consumer boycotts and marches were frequent in the area.
