Was one of two youths shot dead by members of the SAP near Crossroads, Cape Town, on 16 October 1985. The incident was a repeat of the ‘Trojan Horse’ shooting in Athlone the previous day in which security forces concealed in wooden crates on the back of a railways truck opened fire on protesters, killing three youths.
