Description Was arrested during August 1986 and taken to the local police station in Port Alfred, Cape, where he was severely beaten by a member of the SAP. He was forced to make a statement in which he incriminated himself in acts of petrol-bombing, was charged, convicted and sentenced to four years’ imprisonment, of which two years were suspended.
