When Ms Xaba’s husband returned to the house after fleeing the area with his family, he was shot and killed. Monitors estimated that as many as 200 Bhambayi residents had died violently between May and July 1993. | References | | XABA, Bekezela | | An ANC supporter who was shot dead in KwaNdengezi, KwaZulu, near Pinetown, Natal, during political violence in the area in November 1990.
