Was shot and killed on 22 March 1993 when APLA members, armed with automatic weapons, fired on the car in which he was travelling on the Vereeniging-Vanderbijlpark road, Transvaal. Three APLA members were granted amnesty (AC/1999/0002). See APLA attacks.
