A member of the SAP who was shot dead when an MK operative opened fire from a vehicle in Nyanga, Cape Town, on 7 July 1990. He and his colleagues had attempted to stop the vehicle which was occupied by an MK unit. One MK operative was granted amnesty (AC/1999/0331).
