MAEPA, Ntebele MargaretWas injured and suffered damage to property on 17 June 1992 in the Boipatong massacre in Boipatong, near Vanderbijlpark, Transvaal, which left forty five people dead and twenty seven seriously injured. Thirteen perpetrators were granted amnesty, and a further three applications were refused (AC/2000/209).References
MAFA, Bantubonke 40An ANC member who was attacked in his home with spears, shot in the leg and his house burnt by an Inkatha supporter in Orlando East, Soweto, Johannesburg, in 1984.References
MAFA, Ntembeko Oswald 22An ANC supporter who was shot by members of the Ciskei Defence Force (CDF) in Bisho, Ciskei, on 7 September 1992 during an ANC protest march to demand free political activity in Ciskei. Thirty people were killed and 200 people injured in the event which became known as the Bisho massacre. Two members of the former CDF were refused amnesty for the shooting (AC/2000/122).References
MAFABATHO, Piet 49A FAWU member who was shot and injured by members of the SAP while participating in a labour strike action in Viljoenskroon, Orange Free State (OFS), on 4 December 1992. Two police vans entered the work premises and police members opened fire on striking miners, injuring six.References
MAFAFO, Moloko Jarios 48Was attacked with a hand grenade and shot by AZANLA members in Mahwelereng, Lebowa, on 5 March 1993 when investigating a shooting.References
MAFALALA, Sibongile Lennox 19Was shot and injured in Khayelitsha, Cape Town, on 21 January 1993, when the house he was in was attacked by members of a balaclava group who shot at the occupants and set the house alight. Seven family members and friends died in the attack.References

MAFATLE, Simon ThaboA FAWUSA member who disappeared in Germiston, Transvaal, on 18 September 1993 during a strike. Mr Mafatle had accompanied a friend to buy a fridge. The fridge was delivered that day but the men never returned home. It is alleged that they were both shot by a named perpetrator and that their bodies were not identifiable.References
MAFATSHE, JohannesWas shot dead by Bophuthatswana Police in Phokeng, Bophuthatswana, on 21 March 1991 while taking part in a march led by pastors to the Governor`s office in protest against the deportation of the wife of the Bafokeng Chief.References

MAFEREKA, Selleane Paulina 15Was shot and injured by members of the SAP in Sebokeng, Transvaal, on 26 March 1986 when she joined a protest march against high rents organised by the Vaal Civic Association. As a result of the shooting, Selleane is disabled and suffers from a psychological disorder. References

MAFIKA, Lindiwe Sara Makazibuyile 43An ANC supporter who fled her home in Folweni, KwaZulu, near Umlazi, Durban on 5 July 1992 because of political violence in the area. A week later, she returned to find her home had been destroyed, allegedly by IFP supporters.References
