Description Was killed in a hand grenade explosion in Lulekani, near Phalaborwa, Transvaal, on 28 March 1986. The grenade was thrown into a shebeen by members of the SADF Recce 5 Battallion, deployed to act against youth activists in this area. See Gazankulu Hand grenade attack.
