Description She survived an attempted killing when the house in which she and her family were sleeping was burnt down at Inanda, near KwaMashu, Durban, on 10 September 1989 in intensifying conflict between UDF and Inkatha supporters in the area. The family was suspected of harbouring Inkatha supporters.
