An ANC supporter who was burnt to death in an arson attack on her home during ongoing conflict between ANC and IFP supporters at Ndaleni, Richmond, Natal, on 16 January 1993. Balungile’s grandparents and her uncle, an ANC supporter, were also burnt to death, while her mother managed to escape with a stab wound.
