Description
Was shot dead by members of the SAP on 16 June 1976, during the Soweto uprising. During the protest five hundred and seventy five people were killed and two thousand three hundred and eighty people were injured in clashes between protesters and members of the SAP and the Riot Unit. Most of the protesters were youths or schoolchildren.
