Her mother, four other adults and one child died in this incident. SEGAMI, Ivan ‘Squeens’ An ANC activist who was shot dead by members of the SAP in Galeshewe, Kimberley, Cape, on 22 July 1990. At the time of the shooting the victim was part of a group marching to the municipal offices to protest against the cutting off of electricity and water. Police used teargas, baton charges and birdshot to disperse the group.References

SEGOBELA, Sammy MphoA UDF supporter who was arrested and severely injured when beaten with batons in May 1986 at the Namakgale Police station, Lebowa. Segobela and others were involved in campaigns demanding the unbanning of all political organisations opposed to apartheid, and the release of Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners. References

SEGOPA, TheroA citizen of Bostwana who was killed when SADF Special Forces attacked a house near the Ramotswe River in Botswana on 31 December 1986/1 January 1987. Ms Segopa was not the intended target of the attack. Five Western Transvaal Security Branch operatives were granted amnesty for their role in providing information (AC/2001/191). References
